[b]Remove HLTV Crosshair:[/b] Place in c:\program files\steam\steamapps\Youraccount\dod\day of defeat\sprites [b][What is?[/b] [b]Startmovie:[/b] Startmovie is a hl.exe command that basically takes multiply screenshots with given settings. [b]startmovie :[/b] is what you would like the bmp file names.(startmovie ) [b]startmovie :[/b] is how many screenshots you would like to record in.(120 is the common fps) [b]Virtual Dub:[/b] A program that takes your bmp sequence and turns it into an .avi video file. [b]V2 Textures:[/b] Custom textures made by Steve hisey and Sean Kalas [b]Movie.cfg:[/b] Is a custom config file that removes hud and binds recording commands. By hitting F1...F11 when this config is exec'd it will input the startmovie command. F12 is used to stop the recording. [b][Recording][/b] *Note: Set your config and userconfig to readonly. [b]1,[/b] First you need to make sure your .dem file is located in your day of defeat folder. [b]2.[/b] Start up your Day of Defeat. [b]3.[/b] When dod is running change your screen resolution(I use 1024x768) [b]4.[/b] Type exec movie.cfg in console.(make sure you do this before watching a demo) [b]5.[/b] Type "viewdemo " and your demo will begin to load. [b]6.[/b] When you get visual of your demo on the screen hit your console button right away to stop any crashing later on. [b]7.[/b] When you hit console there will be a demo controller. It will say "Loading . When it says , The demo is fully loaded. [b]8.[/b] Find the part in the demo which you would like make a clip. [b]9.[/b] Hit F1 to start recording the clip(it will seem slow when recording because it will be taking 120 screenshots a second, Hit F2 for another clip) [b]10.[/b] Hit F12 after your kills have stopped/clip is over. [b]11.[/b] Disconnect and quit Day of Defeat. [b][Virtual Dub][/b] [b]1.[/b] Open up virtualdub.exe.
